Rancho Nicasio Wedding Venue

Just 25 minutes from “everywhere”, Rancho Nicasio is situated in the geographical center of Marin County. You will find the village of Nicasio tucked away in a valley surrounded by rolling hills. Not only hidden away from the hustle of big cities, but also unspoiled from the worl and time. This historic roadhouse was built in 1941 and still consider the town’s heart and soul! Surrounded by scenic hill views, woods and grazing ranch animals. Rancho Nicasio is set at the north side of Nicasio’s New England-style town square.

Bay Area Wedding Florist

Another lifelong friend designed the floral arrangements and bouquets for this Marin County wedding. Rebecca J Design provided romantic greenery with sustainably sourced blooms to create a bohemian style for dear friends. The warm orange hues complimented the rustic greenery and cream accents.

Bohemian Wedding Decor

There were quite a few elements to this wedding’s decor that established the theme while keeping the overall style very sophisticated. A lot of the time we can think of bohemian wedding decor as immature and not intentional, kind of a “wild” look. However, the decor for this Rancho Nicasio wedding brough sophistication and boho together!

Ceremony Space

I love this outdoor ceremony! The placement of the rugs down the aisle gives the space a more intentional feel, really defining the open space. I also adore the warm tones of the wooden chairs and how well they complement the florals lined down the aisle. And we can’t forget that grand macrame piece on the wedding arch!

Signage

Another great way to establish intention in a space is to add signage. A “Welcome to our Wedding” sign, your names, Menus, the list goes on! Adding signage can also provide information to your guests, giving them a better experience through your wedding day.

Lounge Area

This is a trend that deserves a spotlight all of its own! A lounge area gives you the opportunity not only to relax and enjoy company. But it also allows for a space that is styled and designed for the bride and groom, as well as guests, to pose for photos.

From the picturesque outdoor setting to the heartfelt moments exchanged during the ceremony, every detail came together perfectly to create a truly memorable day. As a photographer, I am grateful to have been entrusted with preserving these cherished memories for the newlyweds to treasure for years to come. This Rancho Nicasio wedding was such a beautiful event, and I feel honored that I was able to capture the essence of their love and the magic of their special day through my lens.
