A film and digital photographer who grew up among old-school dark rooms, and now a wedding photographer for deep-feeling couples, I’m Maya. You’ll find that authenticity isn’t just a passing trend; it's my preferred way of life. Every day, I strive to remain true to who I am, and I’ll do everything I can to help you do the same on your wedding day. Each facet of my business is hand-touched by me. From personalized correspondence, to hand-edited images, I strive to keep my business as human-based as possible. Becoming a wedding photographer was never the plan, but it’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done.

Born and raised in Marin County, I've had the privilege of being surrounded by California beauty my entire life. I knew from an early age that photography had my heart. With my film-camera in tow, I'd take countless photos of vacations and friends and it became a part of who I was, and who I still am today. In high school I learned to develop my own film and fell back in love when I was gifted my first digital camera shortly after my son was born. 

I've now had the pleasure of documenting weddings all over California from private elopements to large cultural weddings and I am beyond honored to have you here reading my story and considering me as your wedding photographer.
