The When and Where

Maya was an amazing photographer who brought our wedding to life. Aside from being incredibly talented at capturing a perfect day, she was also lovely to work with. She made us feel so comfortable the entire time, it felt like she was an old friend I've known for years. She allowed us to be ourselves , giving us no pressure whatsoever. When I got my wedding photos from her, I was instantly in love with my pictures. I am so pleased at how they came out & the wonderful person we got to experience behind the camera!

This was a private occasion focused on family and connection. The private estate’s lush backyard provided the perfect backdrop: tropical and native greenery, colorful trees, and fragrant florals. The couple’s style leaned into simplicity, letting the natural beauty of the space speak for itself. Guests carried white parasols to shade from the California sun, adding a touch of whimsical charm.

The alfresco celebration began with the ceremony beneath a grand tree, while cocktail hour featured passed hors d’oeuvres and a live jazz band. Dinner was served at long, family-style tables dotted with subtle bud vases, encouraging a warm atmosphere.
